Players should
Be responsible, disciplined and mature at all times as you are representing Salisbury City football club on and off the field.
Know and abide by the laws, rules and spirit of the game.
Accept success and failure, victory and defeat, equally.
Respect towards opponents.
A player should
Treat opponents with due respect at all times, irrespective of the resuits of tne game.
Safeguard the physical fitness of opponent's, avoid violence and rough play, and help injured
opponents.
A player should
Accept the decision of the match officials without protest.
Avoid words or actions, which may mislead a match official.
Show due respect towards team officials.
A player should
Attend training regularly and punctually and give notice of and reasons for any absence.
Abide by the instructions of their coach and team officials - providing they do not contradict the spirit of this code
Show due respect towards the officials of the opposition
A player should
Be totally committed to every aspect of his/her development, apply maxiimum effort and determination during matches, training and sessions.
Show due respect to the interests of supporters
· To encourage and help my son / daughter meet targets including the clubs code of conduct and rules
· Support my son / daughter without pressure, praise good work and refrain from criticising lapses.
· Ensure my son / daughter arrives for training and games in good time where possible.
· To stay in the designated areas when at training and match venues.
· To not interrupt coaches’ while they are working.
· To inform youth section of changes of contact information or address.
· Support and encourage during matches without using bad language, shouting or using negative comments
Never pass comments regarding other players and opposition players as this may cause offence to others.
The league is affiliated to the Hampshire Football Association. The league is one of the biggest league's in the area and offers football to young athletes at the age of Under 11s level until Under 15s.
The league is now fast approaching it's 43 year mark with providing youth football to the Southampton Area and beyond. 65 Clubs are current members of the league, with 241 teams across all five age groups.
The league have a selected 23 officers which look after the day to day running of the league. The league also operate individual committee's formed from our 23 officers to govern individual aspects of the league such as ; Breach of Rules, Cup Committee, Youth Committee and Representative Football Committee.
The league also run two cup competitions through out the season; Southampton Tyro Challenge Cup and Tommy Traynor Trophy.
The playing season for 2010 will commence early September, ending with the Cup finals for each age group at the end of April 2011
